
PARK RULES
QUIET HOURS
-
10:00 pm – 8:00 am on weeknights. 11:00 pm – 8:00 am on weekend or holidays (Friday, Saturday & Holidays)

No sound to be heard off site during quiet hours.

No sound to be heard 30 feet from speakers at any time.

CARS
-
Speed limit is 8km/hour at all times in park. Watch for children.
-
One car per site.
-
No car washing in park.
-
Cars to be parked in space provided only.
-
Horn restricted to emergency use only. (Please wave good-bye)
-
Additional vehicles per family are charged according to the current rates for additional family cars.

CAMPSITE – SEASONAL: May 15th – October 15th USE ONLY
-
One family per lot, consisting of two spouses and dependent children.
-
Older children, parents, friends are visitors.
-
No subletting of your trailer.
-
Outside clothes lines racks to be taken in before dark.
-
One deck – one storage shed per site @ size set by management: Any permit fees, user fees or tax charge will be responsibility of camper, for trailer sheds, decks, roof over add-a-rooms, screen rooms.
-
Anyone wishing to pull trailer out of park must inform owners by September 15th. October 20th last date for removal from site before winter storage charge.
-
No sales of trailers or boats by renters in or at Sawmill Bay Trailer Park.
-
A lot or dock is NOT transferrable.
-
Seasonal campers will cut their own grass around trailer – unless other arrangements are made with management. Yearly lawn maintenance fees apply. Lawn mowers restricted hours of operation are 10 AM – 5PM.
-
Washing of trailer using electric power-washers must be approved by management.
-
No electric lawnmowers.
-
All seasonal sites must be free from articles under trailer. If this area is used for storage, then sides must be completely covered to the ground with lattice.
-
Management is not responsible for lost or stolen items. It is the campers’ responsibility to have their property insured for public liability and property damage.
-
The campground is not responsible for any damage due to collision, theft or weather.

GUESTS
-
The renter is responsible for the actions and safety of your children and guests.
-
All visitors must be reported to management by renters.
-
Visitors must park in area provided by management. Fees apply to extra vehicles.
-
Day visitors check-out time is the quiet hour.
-
Overnight guests check-out time is 11:00am, otherwise another day will be charged.
-
If you wish to pay for your guests, please arrange before they arrive.
-
Seasonal campers will be responsible for payment if guests DO NOT PAY.
-
If payments are not received after visit, fees will be calculated at the end of the season.
-
Seasonal renter must be present when their visitors arrive.

CHILDREN
-
The renter is responsible at all times for the supervision, conduct and behaviour of any children and teenagers on Park property.
-
Bikes are to be parked at dusk as close to trailer as possible.
-
Bikes may only be ridden during daylight hours.
-
Please ride bikes on the roadways. Riding bikes is not permitted on other sites, playground, and beaches. HELMETS REQUIRED.
-
Ball playing only in the park area behind Rec Hall. Balls may cause damage to trailers.
-
No playing in swamp areas.
-
Children to be off streets and on own site by 10:00pm.
-
If children are visiting another campsite after dark, they must be walked back with an adult.

PETS
-
One dog or two cats permitted per site.
-
The Park reserves the right to refuse entry to large or aggressive dogs. Dangerous dogs, under Ontario provincial law, are not allowed in park.
-
Pets are welcome but MUST be kept on a leash.
-
You must clean up dog droppings immediately and dispose of them properly in a plastic bag.
-
Pets ARE NOT permitted on the beach, playgrounds, washrooms and recreational hall.
-
Pets may swim in the lake at launch ramp only.
-
Pets must not be left unattended at any time.
-
Pets must not be “walked” on other camp lots.
-
Pets tied outside must not be able to reach other campers’ sites or roadways.

WOOD
-
No cutting of trees, shrubbery or plants or taking of wood from surrounding area.
-
No wood stores on site (Fire Marshall Regulation)
-
Limit of one wheelbarrow of firewood at site. Please keep pile tidy.
-
Wood may be brought from home or purchased at office.
-
No use of chainsaws by renter on property.

BOATS
-
No boats to go through designated swimming areas.
-
Water skiers, wakeboarders and tubers must not start or be let off in swimming areas or docks.
-
No boats or boat trailers at camping site in season (May – October).
-
Boat trailers to be kept in storage areas when not in use.
-
Boats are NOT PERMITTED to pull on the beach.
-
All boats must be docked May 15th – September 15th or in storage.
-
No children allowed to play in boats at docks or storage.
-
No washing boat without management permission at specified time.

LAKEFRONT -Note! NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY
-
Swimming at own risk, children must be accompanied by an adult.
-
Docks are off limits to children without an adult – life jacket required.
-
No running on docks – No items to be left on docks.
-
No horseplay on or diving from docks.
-
No pets allowed in swimming areas.
-
No bottles, cans, glass on beach. Please use plastic containers.
-
No soap or bathing in lake.
-
All docks are the property of Sawmill Bay Trailer Park.
-
One dock will be allocated to each site upon receipt of seasonal dock fee.
-
No children under 12 years of age allowed at the waterfront unless attended by an adult at all times.
-
No non-swimmers to fish off docks unless supervised – life jacket required.
​​
PROHIBITED
-
No 4-wheel or 3-wheel ATV, motorized bikes, firearms, sling shots, bows, fireworks, or any type of explosive.
-
No auto type antifreeze to be used in winterizing – The law is it must be recovered and not dumped.
-
No air conditioning, heaters, hot water heaters, power tools; electric is for lighting and low energy use kitchen appliances only.
-
Second fridge must be approved by management and may only be a mini fridge.
-
No open alcohol bottles/cans away from campsite. Any alcohol to be consumed by legal adults on campsites only and at own risk.
-
No repairs or maintenance of cars, boats, or other vehicles are permitted on Park property.
-
No altering or tampering with Hydro boxes or septic systems.
-
No TV towers or antenna. Satellite dishes size and location must be approved by management.

CAMPFIRES: Abuse of fire regulations could result in loss of fire permit.
-
Campfire in fire boxes only. Location must be management approved.
-
Never leave a campfire unattended.
-
Campfire to be out COLD before you retire.
-
No fires later than 12:00 midnight.
-
No plastic, metal or glass in fire box.

TOILET, DRAINS, SHOWERS, LAUNDRY:
-
Please protect our septic system: do not flush or put down into any drain in the park or your trailers – ANYTHING EXCEPT : toilet paper tissue (in moderation)
-
Please use only 1 ply toilet paper.
-
Please close lids on toilets.
-
Showers are $1 per shower. Laundry use $1.50 per load.

GARBAGE
-
No littering of grounds, beach or buildings permitted.
-
Please take own garbage with you after visiting park. No garbage collection at park at this time.
-
DO NOT burn garbage in park fire box.
-
Do not place fish remains in garbage – see management for shovel to bury remains in designated area or to dispose of in swamp.
-
Do NOT leave any food outside/overnight to avoid pests/animals.

SITE ALERTING
-
Please contact Management prior to installing sheds, decks, digging, or driving stakes, as not to cover or damage systems in park.
-
Campers must consult management before placement or removal of trailers, decks, sheds.

FOR SALE:
-
No for sale signs in park. No yard sales at site.
-
Owner sales of trailers, boats or boat trailers – the units are to be removed from park unless arrangements are made with management.
​​
GENERAL:
-
No profanity, public drunkenness, drugs or fighting allowed.
-
Aggressive or abusive behaviour is not tolerated. The Park reserves the right to remove offenders from the property without warning or terminating the Rental Agreement.
-
Unresolved disputes can result in the eviction of one or both parties – in the events the police are called the parties involved will be requested to leave the park.
-
Damage to property and/or equipment caused by campers, their family members, or visitors, will be charged to the permit holder.
-
Respect other tenants sites – and do not cut through sites. Use roads and pathways, especially when going to docks or beach.
-
The Park reserves the right to set standards and regulations on trailer or camper size and models to promote esthetics and unified appearance.
-
This is a privately owned property. We reserve the right to select our clientele and visitors.
-
All units in park to carry insurance (liability and property damage).
-
There will be a charge for those staying and using hydro before May 15th and after October 15th.
-
Please make us aware of any problems that should be brought to our attention.
-
Please take pride in your camp and report anyone abusing the facilities or not adhering to the rules.
-
3% per month interest charge on overdue accounts to start the first day of default – no exceptions.
-
No sites will be held if not paid in full by April 30th and the trailer owner to have trailer removed from site by May 15th.
-
No refunds on account if trailer is pulled out before Oct. 15th – for any reason.
-
If the above rules are not followed, the owner of the park has the right to break the agreement and ask you to leave the park.
